Hyperbolic regularisation of dispersive equations via "extended Lagrangian" approach

The "hyperbolized" KdV and BBM equations, Serre-Green-Naghdi equations, bubbly fluid equations, Euler-Korteweg - van der Walls equations are derived. Such a "hyperbolisation" approach allows us to use all mathematical and numerical tools of hyperbolic systems of equations to study solutions of the governing equations.
